Seedling Bed Prep

All seedlings except the selected are kept for only two years, most of the selected seedlings will be moved from the field as one year olds. They are flaged on rebloom, if they do not rebloom they stay in the field. A few will not bloom the first year and be evaluated in the field the second year.

Every year at the end of July I rework the seedling beds that I have removed the two year olds from. I have to get the beds ready for the babies so I can get all of them in the ground before Sept.15 to see them bloom the following year.

Here on the Alabama Gulf Coast we have to ammend the SAND with something, I use pine bark which I get delivered, 60 yards a year.

Hi, I really like your daylilies. Do you have any left to sell of Lilian's Got an Eyeful or Lilian's Rainbow at Dawn? Thanks.
